With inspiration like Degas’ ballerinas and lolitas, it is hard to escape a good-girl-gone-bad vibe in Charles Anastase’s Spring collection – but not that it is a bad thing at all!

Lotsa wraps and creamy colours. I think I see bits of ballerina in here. Maybe it’s starting to hint at Lolita shapes.

Denim and denim and denim on denim. She’s slowly easing and growing into a more rugged aesthetic. What way to balance it than with a frilly denim jacket?

I need to try the first look!

Crinoline skirts and cuffed hems looks surprisingly good.

This is kinda how I want my whole wardrobe to look like. Textured, with prints, in mostly creamy pastels with hints of bold black and darker colours.

Do you see the geeky glasses and towering wedges throughout? These kinda remind me of Laila’s organza trench coat.

Oooh, I really like these. The naught/nice vibe is strangely alluring.

laila you know, that’s my favourite piece from your capsule collection!

erinyea! the different looks i could pick out are very different but somehow they meld seamlessly into the same collection

the clothes horse sure is interesting to see a look evolve in a collection. i love how the crinoline skirt manages to fit into almost everything!

interesting… I really like the super-high shoes, too.

he somehow combined all my loves into one collection. ruffles, crinoline petticoats/skirts, lolita esque stuff, bows, leather, punk and clunky shoes. I had such an OMG moment when viewing the collection.
