[Spotlight] Sartorially-challenged III

Howdy. Here we got the last installment of the Straits Times Urban and Tampines 1 challenge!

Another round of bad hair (I swear I did not have the Snooki-hair-pouf when I checked the mirror), bad background and -gasp- bra-showing! I hope it’s not becoming a trademark or something. I look elongated here with a head big enough to rival the Red Queen thanks to a super-wide angle lens used in a very tight space.

Soo this week it’s a cream knit cardigan from Bossini Style. A cute grandmama looking one, but I have to say it’s gonna be the item that I get the most wear out of from the three challenges! And here’s what I wore it with:

Mauve lace long shirt dress (tied at waist), $99, from Topshop.
Black drop-crotch pants, blogger’s own.
Dark navy pleated clutch, $23, from Net.
Lattice cut-out heels, $39.90, from Mitju.
Chain fringe necklace, $29, from Springfield.
Braided satin wrap bracelet with brass charms, $19.90, from Diva.
Grained gold plastic cuffs, $19 each, from Diva.
Tarnished gold ring, $5.90, from Chameleon.
Marble and metal bangle, $8.90, from Chameleon.

I thought I came up with another smarty-pants blurb. It reads:

Get granny and pile on crochet after lace, but douse the dorkiness with pieces you grandma wouldn’t wear – drop-crotch pants, heavy chain-mail and sexy heels.

Whatcha think?

How about you vote for me?

i haven’t seen all the outfits but i really do like what you did here. i guess some of the same things appeal to us? e.g. i’m into things granny so i can relate totally with what you said about the cardi being a keeper, and truly, that blurb is just so right! all the best to you and Sarah! 🙂

add: btw, i thought the bad hair’s cool. i say what i mean, lah. i only hope you’re not offended 😛

You look very warm and flesh-y, but don’t you think you appear shorter with those pants on?
