Two magic words that could, would and did make a fair share of ladies’ (and mens’) hearts skip a beat (or two).
Inconspicuously hidden between Plaza Sing and The Cathay, the Bag Sale was held at The LUXE Art Museum.
Which I liken to attempting to enter Diagon Alley through a building invisible to muggles or, in this case invisible to the uninformed and oblivious shopper.
On this momentous sale day, crazymad queue abounded for crazymadsalez.
Lucky for us, we managed to get in relatively quickly and quickly set out to score some sweet deals. (:
The first level had the smaller items, wallets mostly. But also key-chains, belts, some polo tees and key pouches.
The second level had the bags.
To the event, I wore a ash-grey drape dress from Giordano ladies, skull scarf as necklace from a night market in Cambodia, boots from Charles & Keith, wood watch from stall in Tampines 1 and wood ring by L’ile aux Ashby.
Arm-candy not included.
I had a lot of fun picking up bags from different brands. Brands that I still cannot afford with my current income, or lack thereof.
But it was nice to be able to see these bags up close. Feel them, hold them, caress them, smell them, love them and yearn for them in the moments that they were in my clutches. Too bad they’ll remain a far-fetched figment of imagination for the time being.
I was quite thankful to have my sister with me. Even though we both left empty-handed, she helped take photos while carrying my own (much cheaper) bag.
Jaclyn: I’m really sorry I couldn’t help you get the bag you wanted. /:
And the cutest bag of the lot. Was this one.
So lowly that it was in a corner, behind a shelf, blocked from view, close to the exit, beside the ‘good (and assumingly more expensive) stuff’ was this adicolor wooded case. I’m not even sure if it was for sale. hahas.
Yes. it was that lowly. But cute nonetheless.
Anyway, if you’d like to oogle more, visit our Facebook Page for more photos! (:
