While the lookbook suggests a great deal of gut and experimentation and a theatrical lunacy in styling for Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair’s Autumn Winter 2010 collecton, we’ve been proven that the looks can be pared down to the key pieces and worn simply for an entirely different vibe (and actually so that it’s wearable in our sweltering heat).

Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair‘s first flagship outside of its motherland, Sweden, opened in the Hilton Shopping Gallery back in August. It recently hosted Style: Magazine and its readers to a preview of the new collection and multiple ways around the deconstructed and updated white shirt for the ladies, and the hunting jacket for guys.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, and you, looking like a 20th Century office lady, so play it up like that with a pair of cropped pants and leggings underneath.

And for the boys: denim on denim and shade on shade under the square-checked hunting jacket. Easy peasy and as evidenced on the model, looks really yummy.

Also, thank Burberry for the classic, all-weather trench coat, but the savvy Scandinavian duo, Astrid Olsson and Lee Cotter for turning it into a dark, masterful statement.
